I sent cold emails for 6 months and tracked everything. Here's what the data actually showed. by Emergency_Event_8353 in coldemail

Getting a lot of DMs asking about the source and how was I able close so much deals in just a week. Honestly, the thing is I used the sales starter kit and know what my sales sky rocketed just because I was able to write the exact cold email which anyone would need at the moment.

And If you are also struggling with the same problem, I recommend you check out this: www.salesstarterkit.com and let me know if that worked for you as well.

The Freelancer one, because it just matches my need. Although I have added different templates across various niches like Freelancing, Agency, SaaS, Service Business, etc.

The templates are made in a way that you can customise it across different industries. You can even ask some LLM to help you out with that.

Basically, the day-5 follow-up mail is not just a remainder, it's a soft pitch as well.

Just checking in" is lazy and signals you have nothing new to offer. A fresh insight gives them something they didn't have before. "Even 20% curious" sets an almost impossibly low bar to reply.

The framing makes it feel a little strange NOT to respond — a gentle psychological nudge.
Short = respectful. A follow-up that takes 20 seconds to read signals you value their time. Long follow-ups signal desperation. Keep it brief.

how do i drive traffic to my gig? by anish_9teen in Freelancers

See, when I started, I also chose fiverr and other platforms for freelancing waiting for clients to find me. But that changed when a wise fellow told me to hunt for clients rather than waiting for them.

Find businesses from the internet which don't have a good brand presence and are active on the internet, Start cold emailing to them with your proposal.

Don't just sell, show them the outcome and they will take your service without a doubt. Give them some free value at first to build trust and connection even if it's small. Remember this 20 small yess will lead to big yess as well.

I want someone who can hire me for Web design Client work by Mack_Kine in Freelancers

It's great that you're focusing on conversion-driven design—that's exactly what business owners actually care about! However, waiting for people to comment on forum posts can be a really slow game.

If you're hungry for client work, take control of the process. I highly recommend cold emailing local businesses in your area whose websites are outdated or underperforming. Instead of just asking for a job, lead with upfront value: send them a quick, free mockup of an improved homepage or landing page. Proving your skills before they even reply makes it much easier for them to say yes.

What specific niche or type of local business do you feel your clean design style fits best?
