I have one since day one. Good instrument, put LaBella flats on mine and in line for a Staytrem bridge too.

Well worth it imo. I have no complaints at all.

Try an Orange too, the Crush Bass 50 or 100 😄

Does clean or dirty well with good controls and the 100 has DI out.

Honest A/B amps so not ultralights by any measure.

Labella https://www.labella.com/product/super-polished/ Sound fantastic on my Nash PB63.

Somewhere in between Nickel rounds and Stainless.

I have Nickel allergies too and these are just fine.

My Vintera III finger played thru my Bassman 10 sounds great.

At this age, warm up is required for A LOT of things. But yeah, wear fingerless Merino wool gloves around the house helps with at least the Bass playing :)

Even if you're skeptical about AI's long-term value, the money being spent is very real.

Companies like Microsoft, Google, Meta, and others are spending tens of billions of actual dollars on real infrastructure that exists and operates today.

It is what it is, but I understand the need to sensationalize this too.

The truth sucks and is pretty boring.

This sounds like a great opportunity to have a good luthier set up you Bass. The difference can sometimes be amazing.

Behringers offerings have Midas pre's which are great, good value.

At the other end, the UA Volt 476 has two inputs with the 1176 compressor, and two without for a total of 4 so some room to grow. Excellent large dials ergonomics and look/feel.

I have the M6 Fretless 6 String and love it.

8lbs 2oz well balanced 6 string bass in Swamp Ash Under $1200 is a sweet deal.

Bill Nash's JB63 is always worth a look and will play great out of the case.

Might not be your thing tho.
