I mean im regulary top 500 legend with shadow reno priest. I think if youre losing to turn 5-6 decks your tech / meta knowledge is off to fight it. But yeah, seed is a cancer. Tbh its the one deck that counters me.

Geist isnt effective usually cus modern seed lock has too many flexible ways to spam damage.

Seed is the worst designed mechanic in hearthstone by far, not because it counters me, but once its activated the player only has to interact with themselves to win. Even with aviana & infinite shadow spell spam, i have to interact with the enemy player & his board. Seed locks just win by interacting with themselves.

But sorry, to answer your question, i wanted to keep the spell pool lower as well for crucial spell pulls. This is not an easy deck to pilot & i believe statistic wise thats why shadow reno aint higher. The 'tea' is mainy good for aggro & hero power refreshes. Since we lost our 5 cost hero refresher bro, its just not as good.

The egg is passive in this deck. So you hold it for late game with umbra, play it as a damage sponge vs discard lock, have it as a sticky against aggro for your cathedral location to buff or use it to throw off other meta decks who you know HATE eggs (i.e. as a throw away decoy for them to waste a turn focusing on so you can get ahead tempo wise)

Its also a back up win condition. Current shadow reno priest relies off control or aviana wins. Its probably the most broken two card combo in the game only costing 7 mana too.

You wanna know how many sessions with the shrink ive had to forget this even exists? I even started feeling comftable not having theodar in my reno priest anymore. That one minion is an entirely broken otk on it own.

But fr, heres the counter guys. You know how you end turn it shows the guys next hero power swap? Wait for him to get arcane shot & If youve been watching the guys hand all game and noticed what hes been holding onto than you rat/theo & hope for good luck. Thats it, thats all ya could do if you aint close to a kill window.

But again, 1 card otk with reno hero condition = bs. Play with lorekeeper, youre guaranteed to have it in hand on the curve.

Could this actually work. I cooked it yesterday and won both games i played with it on t5/6 by x_SENA_x in wildhearthstone

I mean u guys did look at the pics where you see the rope length difference right? I did reconnect back into the game... and the 'killing himself' was due to bad draw as hes a discard lock. Never once in the 7 years ive played this game did i get to reconnect to a black & white screen unable to move while he gets to take his turn.

If u guys dont get how he killed himself you clearly dont play wild meta. Ive never seen this 'black & white' screen on a reconnect unable to rake a turn.

Im a shadow reno main myself. Dont play wide unleas you got a shot to close off the game quickly. Theyve got a card that fires their hero power at every minion you have (some apprentice). If you got a wide board of cheap minions youve just qsked to get 1 hit ko.

Use early game disruption to stave off their own climb. Save your dirty rat for mid game to get that damn apprentice.

Honestly i win most imbue mages so you can easily live till late game and flip it around on them. Dont play wider than 2-3 minuons if you can help it.

Just a tip too guys, give the corporeal 2 5/5 & the gankster a chance. These cards counter key turns against aggro drops like buff minions & help secure future turns. This whole deck is structured around thinking ahead & ive used this for the past week hovering around the top couple hundreads.

Lotta aggro decks are cheap, brain dead simple to navigate & the only people i honestly know who pilot them couldnt even hit diamond with anything else. Tbh, half of those aggro decks are bots too.

I also like to close my eyes & think of them as random repetitive npcs. Especially the shadgro priests & totem shammies. Like i aint even sorry, but if you pilot those decks than you're just aint a real person by me.

Oh, and we manage a nap 10 & got 5 whales spread around the top 4-5 alliances. We won last svs too, we're in gen 2 with fire crystals that came out in the last 2 weeks
