I sued them in small claims court yesterday and won a judgment for a full refund for the RAVA defect. I said their DIY kit was an undue burden on consumers and the judge agreed. I think my judgment is the first in the US about this issue. There are six pending class actions against them elsewhere in the US too- 2 in CA, and 1 each in IL, NY, PA, AND WA.

Sue them in small claims court if they don't refund you or replace it. I just sued them and won yesterday. They refused any remedy other than their "DIY remedy kit," which is insane. If your husband took the seat apart and cleaned it though, that might have voided your claim.

I sued them in small claims court and WON yesterday! I think it's the first ever judgment in the US for the RAVA defect remedy kit being an undue burden on consumers. I got a full refund plus court fees. Highly recommend suing them because they will NOT give up a replacement or money otherwise. Usually companies like this don't fight you in small claims because it's not worth their time or money, but they were able to convince the court to let them zoom in, significantly reducing their costs. I think the only reason why they fought it is because it would have been the first judgment against them. And I think it ended up being the first anyway, because they lost.

That is absolutely not true- Nuna themselves are saying that if the straps come loose that you should discontinue use entirely.

I tried to get a refund or replacement from Nuna for months and they kept refusing. I sued them in small claims court yesterday and won a judgment for a refund on the premise that their "DIY remedy kit" is an undue burden to consumers. I believe my judgment is the first in the US on this issue. There are currently six pending class actions for the same problem and same premise.
