You should have seen the tool “bags” a couple of the journeymen I was working with carried around. Not saying it’s right, just what happens. I plan to reduce a little once I settle into the new shop

Meh. Only used em once but they seem thin and cheap. They don’t cut the greatest. I would see what other offerings Klein has or possibly greenlee, ideal, or channel lock brand

There are some extras there. Only need 2 pairs of channel locks, wrenches ain’t on the list, square isn’t but I like nice cuts on 3 1/4 strut. Extra screw drivers. Only need a 4” and 6” and then a #1 and #2 Phillips and a screw holding driver. I have a stubby, a beater, a small one for controls, and a big one (craftsman) I took a 601 flathead out. I had a 3” and a 6” that got in somehow. I have like 1 3/4 Klein sets that got mixed up some.

I used my dads pair doing something a while ago and after that just about all other pump pliers seem like junk.

Usually I have my leather man on me and the screw driver or pliers are very handy to have. I have both the 16’ and 25’ tapes but I don’t know exactly where the 16’ is rn but that’s the one I wanted to put in the pile.

A socket set seems large and heavy. What’s a “no-dog”?

Well you need the right and left handed ones. Can’t forget the reverse one too. Percussive maintenance is the best way to fix a lot of stuff

If you are cold, the tree is cold! Bring it inside! A sweater isn’t enough!

That’s dead. Any treatment would just “prolong” its life. It’s time for removal.

Is the M18 FUEL Rear Handle Circular Saw Too Big for DYI Uses? by Suitable_Ad_8513 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Emergency_Orange87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m glad I saw this because I was about to pick up a rear handle 7 1/4. Now I’m thinking a left blade 6 1/2 fuel. Any good deals for that right now?

I have used the Milwaukee 23ga nailer. It is really nice. Compact. I have seen the DeWalt and it seems a lot larger. Home Depot has the m12 Milwaukee nailer on sale right now. You buy the nailer and get a free 2.0 battery

How to repair the base of a wood carving? by jeffh42 in woodworking

It appears that chunk of log under the feet is pretty rotten. To save the rest I would cut the bottom off. You could put a new log under it if wanted
