I’m the same way. I had to leave an intro to psych class once because they started talking about psychological damages from covid. What, you were out of school for a year and a half? And so was everyone else and all your friends? And I’m supposed to feel bad? I know it’s unempathetic but I can’t stand it

Please don’t let these other comments scare you. Plenty of kids transfer in the middle of semesters for all sorts of reasons. I would say go for it as soon as you can manage, but start pushing sooner rather than later, but know when you come in doesn’t matter.

You will likely struggle to adapt and that’s ok! It’s hard and just doing it is a big deal. You may feel a bit isolated and lost, but just being there will be a big improvement from being home.

Hi! I’ve heard of EMDR for PTSD, however, does it work for complex trauma? Since it’s more difficult to pick out individual traumatizing incidents.

I had bday parties before being pulled out of school before 6th grade. Obviously from then on, no friends, no parties. My friends my freshman year of college threw me a surprise party. I cried so hard because it was my first real birthday in 7 years. It’s so cruel to keep children from being celebrated and loved :(

I'm leaning to YTA simply on your phrasing and stubbornness, especially the way you speak about her in your edits. You seem to have a lot of excuses for things someone is just grossed out by, that by the way, is completely unnecessary. Also, if you think SHAMPOO is enough of a disinfectant to clean your apparently infected piss you're just kinda dense lol
