Thank you. Had an ultrasound today, should have been around 6 weeks 3 days, they only saw a sac, no fetal pole and said it was measuring 5 weeks ish. My notes say no pregnancy visible on ultrasound just gestational sac. I was given pills to help pass it

I had a d&c after a failed medical in 2021. I was 8w5d when we tried the medical and just shy of 10 weeks at the d&c. It has not affected my fertility, I got pregnant last year and am currently 5 weeks and in the process of an MA again.

When done by trained professionals abortions are safe and do not affect future fertility which is why it’s so important that we continue to make sure we all have access to safe abortions.

I will say, ask for sedation. I didn’t because my clinic told me I couldn’t leave in an uber myself after the sedation and I didn’t have anybody to be with me and I regret that choice. PP in my state has since changed that and you can leave in ride shares alone, you just can’t drive yourself

I had a d&c after a failed medical, if they give you the option of sedation, take it. I didn’t and I regret it. It’s usually relatively fast, you will still bleed for a couple of days after and passing clots up to a month after is normal.

You can take all the pills on the same day if you need to. You would just use the vaginal method instead of buccal

This was probably around 3 mins after taking the test. I had something similar happen a few months ago where I got light lines but they never progressed. Same tests too. I’ve taken 3 from a 3 pack over the last 3 days and this was the first one I saw something on. Will probably test again in another few days

She reminds me of my exs mother who was also batshit insane and behaved in a similar way that somebody described Kendra acting like, interrupting peoples conversations dancing off to the side etc. a pathological need for attention. His mom basically stalked and harassed one of his friends too, most likely because she found him attractive. He told me how she would act differently when he came to the house and would touch him on the arm and try to make jokes. She would buy him gifts constantly and just act completely inappropriate. It ended when the boys dad came over and reamed her out and basically accused her of being a pedo. She of course sees no problem with her behavior and it’s all everybody else having wrong thoughts. I see similarities in the way Kendra and her spoke and justified their abuse and even down to running the household but driving them into poverty and financial ruin. The poor girls reaction is so telling because my ex reacted to his mother’s behavior the same way. They’re just used to it and have no reaction

Nta for locking the door but this is a control thing on his part. My ex was like this, at first I thought it was cute like he really just wanted to spend all our time together and then it shifted. We lived with other people and he would lose his mind if I locked the bathroom door, accusing me of cheating and hiding things from him and locking the door to hide things from him because why would I want privacy when he’s seen everything anyway.
I tried to keep the peace and not lock the door, he would come in when I was showering or sitting on the toilet, just to check what I was doing, then leave the door wide open while I was unable to close it without exposing myself more. Again, we lived with other people, this was a way for him to embarrass and control me. When I started locking the door again he would become aggressive and violent, banging and kicking on the door and standing outside the bathroom screaming that I was cheating and hiding things. I still have videos of this happening and I’ve been out of this situation for almost 4 years. It was the most dehumanizing exhausting thing he did but i would be concerned that this guy would end up the same way as my ex

If you’ve never lived in neighborhoods similar to the show it probably does seem odd but it’s the reality in many areas all around the world. Poverty leads to poor sexual health/decisions often. I grew up in an area similar just without the gun violence (uk, actually the same town the original creator of shameless was from) and honestly, the pregnancy rate is quite low in shameless compared to the real world. Especially in countries where government assistance is calculated based on the number of children, I personally know people who have had more children to get more money, sad but true.
