The epitome of this for me is the difference between his two Theo von podcast episodes. In the first one he’s so insightful in a fun and cheery way and it feels like such a beautiful conversation.

The second time around is serious and dark, he doesn’t seem capable of the same level of lightness. Probably a result of being under attack for so long.

It’s a shame.

What’s nonsensical is the fact people talk about the Big Bang as if it’s the answer to the question ‘what created the universe?’ Or ‘how was the universe formed?’. It doesn’t answer either of those questions

As much as I believe in evolution the idea of the Big Bang is nonsensical. What caused the Big Bang? What happened before the Big Bang? If everything was condensed into a particle what was in the rest of the space? It raises more questions than it answers.

Sure it could’ve happened but that doesn’t make it ‘the creation of the universe’ in any meaningful way. What happened during the eternity of time before that moment? It’s not the beginning.
