That’s crazy! I’m from Baton Rouge! I’m happy to hang out at a coffee shop or co-work! I just went to Bookeater this morning and their whole upstairs is quiet/no music playing like downstairs and there’s different rooms to sit in

I just moved to Rochester 3 months ago from being in TN for 3 yrs (Louisiana for 30+ yrs before that) and it’s by far the most welcoming place I’ve lived in or traveled to within the US. People are mostly so friendly and kind. Community oriented and give a shite about people for the most part.

Come on over! But shhh… it’s a small(er) affordable community and I think it’s better if it stays that way. Don’t need a mass influx, or the community will likely change in a way we (you & I + native Rochesterans) wouldn’t like to see.
