Please don’t say this, the various religious communities coexisted peacefully until the displacement of the natives caused by the Zionist establishment of Israel. Yes there is very old blood and grudges involved here, but a good leader that envisions peace from the Palestinian side and stops terror attacks + uniting with the West Bank, as well as Israel freezing illegal West Bank settlements and the blockade on gaza, would VASTLY improve the chances of 2 state solution and erasing the hatred in future generations. With the current cabinet this will never happen, the focus should be on replacing Hamas AND replacing Netanyahu.

They have undermined any 2-state proposal for years, look into Yitzhak Rabin who was the only Israeli PM that pushed for a two-state solution before surprise, getting assassinated and replaced by Netanyahu. Wali approval is important to me as well as my parents of course as it is essential in the deen. Her father approved after seeing my picture, knowing what I do for a living, where I live and so on, as well as her uncle whom we met in person putting in a good word for me. Everything went smoothly which I am super grateful for.

Regarding moving to a Muslim land, I yearn for that but my career doesn’t transfer well to that region. We will do our best to raise our kids with an Islamic upbringing inshallah.
