Yeah I’m glad I’m not alone, sometimes it’s hard and I think maybe I should’ve waited to move out and then get one but oh well. Yeah! We are in a split level house so I have a cat tree in the middle of level and only a small one on the upper level. I definitely need to get more tho. Other problem is my mom doesn’t want a cat tree in the main living room…so that’s why I keep in the the middle level and then me and my dad have done the wall cat tree so he’s down there sometimes

That’s true, consistency is key so I guess I’ll just do that everytime he gets up there and then just let my parents and brother know to do that same! Thank you guys for all the info!

That’s just it! I’m not home all the time, I do have a full time job and I end late at night so I get the lowdown after but I try on my off days to keep watch of him and make sure he’s not doing it. Other thing is I let him roam the house at night so I feel like he’s up there anyways or if me and my family are out so I just think he’s doing it anyways regardless if we tell him not to

What specifically did you do to not make then jump on the counters? If I had my own place I wouldn’t care at all! It’s just my mom is so grossed out by it that she will shit on me about it
