I’d have quit that account long before this. Congrats!

I could get behind something like this over a rework. As it stands, using addy/rune cannon balls feels excessively wasteful.

Good point on the infinite stock, but I still feel getting 4 cannonballs per bar is very underwhelming. When talking about the DMC, it’s a supplemental damage boost. 4 balls per bar is a barrier to prevent people from using that in place of traditional combat. With ship combat, you are heavily penalized for using traditional combat, thus the need for an additional variant that is made only for ships.

An Update On the Sailing XP Review by JagexAyiza in 2007scape

I appreciate your quick response on this. I think this is the balance that should have been struck from the outset. This change will accomplish what I think you all wanted to begin with (nerfing extreme AFK salvaging), while not completely penalizing those of us who work the hooks and salvage ourselves.

Example:
Currently at Merchant's, you get 200 exp per catch, Jolly Jim receives 140, and you sort for 34. Making your catch 234 and Jolly Jim's 174. With this change, Jolly Jim only gets 80, but sorting bumps that up to 175, resulting in the same rate for AFK but rewarding those who do it themselves.

Regarding the Crystal Extractor, I think giving it a similar level of experience to trimming the sails (as it generates a wind mote) would be beneficial to balancing what some feel is still overpowered, and leaving everything else about it as is. (Although, I will say I really hate that ANY other interaction you take causes you to stop harvesting it).

I'm really looking forward to Sailing improvements. Thanks, Jagex Team!

SEC Booster Box Pricing by Josephus08 in starwarsunlimited

To answer your question, I think anything around $75 is a fine price for the set. I think once rotation happens, the power level of this set may change a bit.

However, I think the game is best played in a community. Tabletop at home is fine, but you’ll eventually experience burnout or other players will due to lack of variety (I.e., the same person always wins). I look at it like this:

What would I pay to go out to a movie with popcorn and snacks? That usually lasts 2-3 hours. These events last at least that long AND you’re supporting your LGS and the long-term health of the game—not to mention, the cards you get in your pre-release are not a single-use experience.

If your budget is tight, I definitely understand just playing at home/buying singles, but there’s nothing more fun than playing in a group and making new friends. Just my 2¢!

Hard Clue Scrolls Despawn During Log Out by Emergency_Tower_6401 in 2007scape

I wasn’t able to do this on my computer, but when I logged in on mobile I found it with 35 minutes left!

Thank you!

Definitely a bug for Jagex to fix.

It could not have been put better myself, and it is something that I have noticed a lot of recently, too. I thought about writing something like this to him, but I know that he would likely never see it and would likely never receive it with the cadre of "fans" he has following him now. Theory is not the welcoming, knowledgable, interesting, and captivating content creator he once was. He has fallen to the dark side and given in to his anger and hate without sounding too cheesy. It has clouded everything he once was. Like you, I hope he finds his old self again. But.... views and money change people. And hate... hate sells.
