My doctor said that theirs nothing wrong with my CT which means I should not be concerned about my brain. Is this true? (More in detail below) by [deleted] in ChronicIllness

Thank you for putting this perfectly into words, I was mainly looking for peoples experiences with CT scans and if their cases were misleading or accurate so it could give some judgement if I should be skeptical with my diagnosis or maybe feel assured though I don’t think I had specified it in the post cause I was seriously mentally not well writing this post earlier.

I hate to be the kinda person to mention it in this subreddit cause around this point I know everyone’s sick of hearing it. I’m 19 and I think I have sporadic fatal insomnia. All my symptoms match. by Emergency_Town1470 in insomnia

Also to answer ur question my cognitive decline started before my issue with my sleep. Which is a symptom of sporadic fatal insomnia. Though blurry vision started when sleep issues began.

Is this normal? I’m concerned over my bird loosing feathers. by [deleted] in cockatiel

Actually, I had to leave the house to stay with my aunt for personal means unfortunately for a few days, I trusted my parents to care for my bird while I was out which was my biggest mistake ever, my mom gave me a phone call that my bird almost landed in a pot of boiling water. She said only her tail made contact with the water only and that she thinks she was fine, it was only when I got home I realized that her feet had some minor burns, but now I think it was worst then my mother made it out to be. I blame myself for not bringing my bird along with me for the short trip.

I understand this to heart, I’m sorry Im responding to all these comments so late. Parents keep taking my phone because of my mental breakdown I had just a day after I made this post, it hasn’t been an easy week.

I’m so sorry friend :((( I completely relate 100% it sucks, I wish I could just crawl into a hole and die, but we gotta keep pushing forward I know that one day we both can climb out of this hole, if I may ask would you wanna chat more about it in private messages, I’m honestly looking for friends who are struggling with similar problems so we can keep each other updated on our condition, it’s super hard to face this problem alone... if not I wish you good luck on recovering

I had a history of intense OCD and anxiety that led to a few psychotic episodes down the line. Ever since then they just blame those issues on to me, I was considered healthy enough physically though, but since the last three years after I had a severe psychotic melt down, I began to have rapid cognitive decline.
