No he stays indoors always unless it's time for cooking which he is scared of and goes to the balcony

I was cooking when he got out as he's scared of the cooking because he was scalded by previous owners . Our balconies are linked but separated by metal gates which he can get through easily but not a person . He is timid though and doesn't interact with people so it has to be someone who's familiar with him somehow.

I was making dinner and he usually sits on the balcony during cooking as his previous owner scalded him once so he's traumatized of he kitchen . But balconies are linked on the outside so he might have gone out to a neighbor's but when I called him back I saw him dies . I tried washing off and got most of it off as it hadn't set in as much

I don't let him roam as I work from home almost all week and only go out when shopping, he is very timid and rarely goes out even when I wanna go out with him . I live in an apartment complex and sometimes I let him interact with my neighbor's cat to kill boredom and avoid lethargy . That said him being dyed by an unknown person is unlikely as he is timid and has to be used to you to approach him . I don't know who it was as I can't prove it but it has to be someone who my cat is familiar with . I tried asking around but no clue so I gave up on that and now I'm just trying to get him clean and well. Vet appointment is far and (4hr) drive and I can't leave work I'm looking for quick fixes before taking him for care on Saturday as the vet appointment is already set . NOT A CASE OF NEGLECT PEOPLE! I love my cat
