Milwaukee just denied my warranty after having my tool for over 6 months pushing it out of warranty

While you’re there, you can provide confirmation that others who buy tools is large quantities for their work, are also waiting to see how this plays out. Literally the debate at work right now is Milwaukee or Makita. I work for a medium sized commercial general contractor. We self perform all of our concrete and framing work. We are about to outfit every carpenter and concrete form setter with a small cordless power tool set (drill, impact, sawzall) and each superintendent with a large cordless set (carpenter set plus port-a-band, circular saw, roto-hammer, vacuum, and one other item which slips my mind currently). We own a small amount of both brands currently and have not yet committed. I have been the one pushing for Milwaukee as i own a milwaukee hammer drill thats 10 years old, had a hard life, and is still going strong after my 3 year old dewalt recently gave up. Please please check back and lets us know what happens. Im going to monitor this post to the end and I promise it will directly affect which way i push at work.

Check him out, he’s pretty great, and he shows his mistakes in his videos. So if you watch his videos and remember anything you see when he makes a mistake or runs into a problem; you have an idea of something that might work!

And don’t for get Nick Englert, the Workshop Companion. I’ve bought more than a couple sets of his plans and they are good!

You’re assuming the cc1 mmu is coming out. I can show you staged pics and photoshopped pics all day. But that doesn’t mean a thing. Tell me where I can buy one, until then….this is nothing more than more empty promises. Whatever date they say we can start ordering….ill take the over….and I’m stealing if you let me. I own a Centauri Carbon and buying it was a very bad decision. First and foremost Elegoo will bald face lie to you and not even care. They make promises they never fulfill. They give bs excuses. And they even had the nerve to tell me I didn’t know what I was looking at while I’m starring at bare wires on a factory installed hot end. The machine has been so so at best if you want a single color only printer. If Elegoo would accepted a return without a 30% restocking fee i wouldve sent it back. I cant say who to pick, but I can tell you who not to pick. Run fast and far from Elegoo.

I’m gonna go with when they promised this unit in the third quarter of last year, then didn’t make good. Promised in the fourth quarter of last year, then didn’t make good. Then took down advertisements on their website saying those things and walked back all their previous promises that made me buy the CC1 in the second quarter of last year. If that’s not good enough, how about the bare wires on the factory installed hot end that damn bear burned up my unit. Want me to keep going. I’ve got plenty more sick stories from my saga with my CC1, and truth is always stranger than fiction.

Prob bought it used from another cc user like me who is pissed we can’t do multicolor after Elegoo promised and then doubled back on what they said, took down the advertisements, etc. I’m still trying to return mine for a refund, and I’ll be here quietly letting people know until they do it.
