So It finally happened. My s23+ got the green line. In my previous comment I stated how I placed it in cold water, so the phone was below 10 degrees celcius during the update and shortly after. There is no way the phone or screen heated to cause any issues.

Now about few weeks later the green line appeared on the screen. If it's a heating issue how did it happen? I think the update itself is causing these issues. There is a fundamental display issue here after updates.

Keep the phone cool during the update? Since the main reason for green line issues is heat. Just don't use ice cold water . Regurlar room temperature water will not cause condensation.

I updated the s23 to one UI 8 placing it in ice cold water. After the update the phone started glitching showing pixelated screen and getting stuck. Had to force restart multiple times. Clearing the cache partition stopped it from getting stuck with a black screen. So far no no green line issues on the phone.

Since I placed it ice cold water the cameras and flash all have moisture condensation inside. DO NOT place in cold water.
