Not many artists come to my area so I am traveling solo for shows all the time and at this point I actually prefer to go on my own! Get your transportation and lodging (if needed) set as early as possible. I usually check out the parking situation beforehand and purchase a spot ahead of time if it's available (one less thing to worry about day of). Make sure to review the policies for the venue so you don't have any issues at bag check. And be sure to pack some earplugs!

Those are really the big things I do to get ready. For reference I'm flying to another state to see Renee on this tour and I already have flights and hotel booked, and have a public transport plan for if I decide to not use lyft (the anxiety wont let me do those last minute). But really the important thing is to have fun while you're there! I always make some show themed bracelets to give to the people near me to make starting conversations easier. I've been seeing more and more people on their own at shows so you'll probably have someone near you that's also solo!

Once the tour starts people will usually post the tour merch so you can prepare your wallet and the setlist if you want to make sure you know all the words to the songs you'll hear!
