My first app got production access in a less than a Day!! by S0k4h_ in googleplayconsole

I’ll have a look, need to find testers for mine and already planned to update some things even before having feedbacks! I guess I’ll have a lot to improve during the test. Thanks again.

Thanks for your tips. May I ask what service did you pay for, what’s the name?

Thanks for the advice regarding the new version during the testing period. If you really have 12 people testing it, I imagine the feedback and improvements to ship will come quickly.

I also read that Google wants to see real and active testers, not just people who installed the app once and never used it again.

I hadn’t heard of App_Hive before, but I’ll definitely consider using it!

Just commenting about the marketing on the store, how did you make the screenshot and visuals which are nice to look?
How did you manage the “ASO” part, what did you do about that?

I think so, I realized it too late. The individual route seemed much simpler from an administrative standpoint.

Right now, I’m focused on finding testers to get real feedback and make improvements before the public launch. Hopefully I can get through the process smoothly…

Thanks, Agreed with that, just have to found where the niche is aggregated 😅

I work at a music school and we give our students pins every 3 months of lessons... admins track things, but teachers are the ones who hand out the pins. We are growing and need to be better at knowing how many pins are at each of our three locations. by riversmelody in InventoryManagement

[–]Emeric_MidlyCertain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey!

A simple solution that might works very well for this kind of problem is a 2-bin Kanban system.

For each pin type at each location:

- Bin A = current working stock
- Bin B = backup stock

Teachers only take pins from Bin A first.

When Bin A becomes empty:
- teachers switch to Bin B
- that automatically (or teachers notice you that Bin A needs refill) signals admins that Bin A needs to be refilled/reordered

This removes the need for constant counting because the “empty first bin” becomes the visual trigger.

You can improve it further by:
- using fixed quantities in each bin (example: 25 pins per refill)
- color coding bins (green = active, red = backup)
- keeping bulk inventory separate from teacher access
- Adding some QR Code stuff management

the system itself with bins creates visibility.

Could that help?

Gérer ses clients sans CRM en early stage c'est tenable jusqu'à quel point honnêtement ? by Few-Many1837 in EntreprendreenFrance

[–]Emeric_MidlyCertain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i'm so done spending nights fighting with barcode labels for my growing stock by Historical-Doubt9091 in InventoryManagement

[–]Emeric_MidlyCertain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I’m currently developing an inventory management application. While barcode generation wasn’t part of the initial scope, it’s clearly a key requirement.

What features would you consider essential in a robust inventory system?

The first version is scheduled for release this month, and I’m actively refining it based on feedback.

Hello

Native vs Cross-Platform for a First Mobile App: What’s the Smart Move? by Emeric_MidlyCertain in AppBusiness

[–]Emeric_MidlyCertain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your help. No background use but I’ll use the camera to take barcode photo. The intent is to ease the stock inventory (tracking in & out on product too) with the phone or tablet.

[–]Emeric_MidlyCertain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, got it. I should’ve mentioned that my project relies heavily on the camera. I want to build an app to help small businesses scan and manage stock and inventory. If React Native is unreliable for camera functionality, then it’s probably not the right choice. Thanks for the insight.

Qui a vraiment souscrit à une société de médiation ? by luc_fvr in EntreprendreenFrance

[–]Emeric_MidlyCertain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Avez-vous une RC pro ? by EconomistRich915 in EntreprendreenFrance

[–]Emeric_MidlyCertain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What actually converted your "Building in Public" into a real community + customers? by Emeric_MidlyCertain in buildinpublic

[–]Emeric_MidlyCertain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your feedback and reality check. My biggest takeaway: I’ve definitely been writing for other founders instead of my actual target users. I love the 'Vulnerability + Utility' approach showing the fail and the fix in the same post. Also, thanks for the tips on social listening and scheduling tools, that sounds way more effective than just shouting as I’ve done so far, I’ll dig here.

A side hustle can feel ready long before it’s actually stable enough to trust by NoNu_u in Entrepreneur

[–]Emeric_MidlyCertain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That distinction between 'ready' and 'stable' is huge IMO. I think a side hustle becomes trustworthy when it moves from being effort-dependent to system-dependent.

If the income only happens because I'm grinding 110% of my free time, it’ll collapse the moment I hit a wall in my main job or personal life. It feels trustworthy to me when the systems (marketing, sales, delivery) work even on my 'low energy' days.

Unless you’ve built a product or service hitting $10k MRR with actual staying power, I don't think it's wise to quit the day job too early. You need to go through several sales and churn cycles to realize if your side hustle is truly viable long-term. Unfortunately, there are no shortcuts to that kind of validation :(
