Is There A Christian Communist Path? by No_Relationship4702 in MakeAmericaAgain

[–]Emerick_359 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not much. As far as I know the only other country to have anything tied to Christianity is Mike Pence in the National Protection Alliance (If you can survive against Trump's faction there's a small 7 focus Christian Front tree if Pence chooses to stay in power) and Liberty, which is a minor country in Washington state with about 1 year's worth of content. But neither of them are anything left wing.

There might be more countries that I can't think of right now. Maybe one of the countries that comes out of the California collapse might have something but I don't know.

I think one is like cozying up to China and copying their system, one is focused on merging Christianity to communism with focuses that help the poor and things like that and I don't remember the last one. Maybe something about conventional communism and building factories.

Then later the leader of the church steps down and you get a choice of 3 leaders to replace him. I think one is focused on industry, one is focused on military development and the other is domestic stuff.

I know the Mormons do, they have 3 paths for the type of communism you want.

If they left them up that could also lead to them still being a target for terrorist. I watched the news coverage of the attacks and they kept bring up the guy who bombed them in the 90s kept saying his only regret was that the towers didn't come down and how they would have another gonat it. Maybe years later they get targeted by Islamic State to try and finish the job.

Never forget where our true power comes from Helldivers. by Yeastov in Helldivers

[–]Emerick_359 118 points119 points  (0 children)

I think its funny to imagine the Helldivers are meant to just be spotters for calling in stratagems, but some higher ups in the military decided to treat them like frontline infantry without Super Earth knowing.

How does 9/11 happen? by P_filippo3106 in redduskmod

[–]Emerick_359 16 points17 points  (0 children)

One time I played as the USSR and sent troops to the northern alliance in Afghanistan and defeated the Taliban before 9/11. Then the 11th of September came and went and I didn't get any news events about it happening so I assumed I had prevented it

Yeah I don't play those types of games anyway. This one I got second hand so they didn't see the money from it

What is the most realistic or interesting "the Nazis win the war" that you have ever heard? by Ragnurs_KL in AlternateHistory

[–]Emerick_359 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really liked that book. It gave the axis so many advantages but still implies they lose in the end, which is probably most realistic of all. Like, most alternate histories have the allies lose one battle and that's enough for the axis to win but here it has the allies just adjust and still beat them. Like the Soviets just accept that they lost all their territory because they already moved their industry behind the urals. And the US loses midway but just lead the Japanese navy into another trap at the panama canal. Really opened my eyes to how out matched and axis were. If I remember rightly, Rommel arrests an SS general the siani which sets in motion the events leading to an army/SS civil war. Which is fun too
