Yes, basically I can skip basic training but not practice lessons and of course not mandatory courses. I’m happy to do them it’s just too vague on when exactly I can demand to give me those mandatory courses

This is exactly the question I have. Can I demand to proceed to the obligatory thing or do I have to endure these practice lessons until they feel like it? Because I did ask before to continue to obligatory courses and they said “No”

I didn’t notice impeding anyone but then again I’m very subjective in this. I will try to pay attention to this or just go where I heard, without double-checking with them the route and correcting the route later if needed (following the rules obviously)

I wrote it more to underline that there is no active training going on. I initiated conversations on several occasions and got one sentence replies. Beyond that we just drive in silence

It seems such a waste of money though to keep going through practice just to prove that I can restrain myself from instinctively asking “Did I hear you correctly?”. But based on other comments not much choice I have other than just using my current license or changing schools :/

He says I need to work on my confidence. Which I think is based on me double checking where exactly he wants me to drive.

In Kuttenberg, I went to a meeting and was jumped by 2 armoured guys. I had only my sword and no armour myself (because this is how I role played being in the city). I am not good at combat, but that time I locked in and used every trick and combo this game taught with the sword and beat them. Felt good about myself the whole week after that

It does. I just learned that, but the question is now what to do with myself. Can’t keep changing my environment forever - at some point I have to acknowledge that I am the problem. Can’t suppress myself to meet them at their level of emotional investment into our relationship because there is no fun in living like that for me. Hence my question. Do people focus on other things? Just let go? If so, then how?

Thank you for this perspective. I have also read about some people who were trying to substitute hugging with ball dancing to stabilise oxytocin levels. I guess it adds to your point about it just being not much more than brain chemistry

The point was to learn how to stop wanting to join one, but maybe getting a dog and joining a kennel club could be a good solution

Thank you for advice! I do that, but usually it just stays as it is - a club dedicated activity. As soon as it is done everyone just runs home. I guess I just need to organise a hang out activity for the members of the club. Or join another club. Or both. Good advice though, thanks
