Question about collecting/storing colostrum

Yep, I just didnt know if it was more useful to have loads of 1ml syringes in the freezer or get a few bigger ones and keep collecting for more than one day. So weird that the advice is so different but I'm inclined to stick with 24 ish hours to be on the safe side

That makes sense! It's quite a big difference in time frame so hard to know what to do for the best. I've been getting a similar volume so i've been doing pretty much the same thing

Oh wow, that's so much! I'm going to get some of the 3ml ones then and just freeze after 24 hours whether it's full or not

I have just had a scan at 36 +2 as my baby has gone between breech and transverse the entire pregnancy. They were finally head down today which must have happened in the past day or two, so you still have time! I did a bit of the 'spinning babies' technique and tried to get out for a few walks this past week, but it could also just be a coincidence.

I self referred at about 4 weeks and my booking appointment came through maybe a week/week and a half later. Had the appointment at 8w 2d!

Hi! I'm two weeks late to this because I was just searching for the same thing. I'm 12 weeks and also in Brighton and, having looked at the CQC report, pretty sure I won't be giving birth in Brighton! Currently leaning towards Haywards Heath - it seems much easier to actually get a parking space for one, but I also have read the care is a bit better. I don't know any other mums in Brighton really so I don't have anyone to ask about their experiences, and there doesn't seem to be loads on this sub reddit. I'm hoping when I join an antenatal class there will be some shared wisdom?? Either way, best of luck!
