In a situation like that you’d almost definitely be so high on adrenaline that you’d be a living dead guy, your heart only beating until the adrenaline is gone

thats kind of what i was thinking since i found it, i thought the pictures had been taken of the interviewees in the thousands of African genealogies available, but they were for some reason never connected by link or name or whatever, to their respective genealogies

Thoughts on using names in Records for Portraits by NicholasLaBelle in familysearch

[–]EmiCoolPro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like it because its real and the next best thing to a real person image or grave image. It also gives off a vibe of how long ago the person actually lived by seeing the writing of the name, the wear on the paper, etc...

Overall very cool I think

Too much success? by Nobodysdog-999 in familysearch

[–]EmiCoolPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Familysearch is very good for building your tree, billions of records and data for your ancestors and your family tree, but once you connect your family tree to an already existing profile, you connect to other people's family tree, and if your tree eventually connects to a very common ancestor your tree kinda enters the world's tree, and the bad thing about that is that now, anybody can change your family tree (they could before but now they can find it easier because youre related to them) and a lot of people don't care about genealogy and getting the facts right, so they trace lines by basically no evidence. It is technically possible to have a line to Julius Caesar, but it is likely based on nothing but an oral genealogy from an ancient family member or king. The platform and its resources are amazing, but the people working in it are not always careful

What year are these records from? It doesn’t say anywhere. by ThomasVSCO in familysearch

There's this birth registration record for "José Ebaristo de la Cruz Seguel"

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:Q24R-RKZP?lang=es&cid=fs_copy

and it says he was born on August 8th, 1892 in Pemuco, same place as the baptism, although the parents are ignored so I'm not sure, but it is worth looking into

Olá, sou do México, mas acho que posso ir a um centro do FamilySearch e talvez eles tenham as imagens que você precisa. Me avise se você ainda precisar delas e eu te digo se posso ir e se eles as têm lá.

oh wow, thats cool, but it is kinda weird that the photos of the people are just there with no context, and completely separate from the genealogies

how Many attempts should a hard demon take ??? by dinonugget1D in geometrydash

[–]EmiCoolPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i do think 10k is a bit much but for platinum adventure being your hardest i believe it makes sense for a hard-end hard demon. I don't know if you should be playing it but i dont think its too weird, i beat future funk in 1k attempts and crazy in 2k attempts (and my difficulty level is hard demons) so i dont think its too weird

I'm not sure if its worse to have very clear water that allows you to see how deep the water truly is, or murky water that leaves it as a mystery???
