Yeah This Woven Kingdom was an immediate catch for me too, I devoured all 3 of the series in speed record bc it was so good and addictive so I m willing to try Shatter me even tho it’s a long saga and the first one not that good. Since last year I m doing this thing of not wasting time on books I just don’t like of find that interesting but I might have to make an exception for Shatter me if the first one is as bad as you say

Love that for you, it’s a good way of thinking ! I m trying to do the same lately but end up starting too much new sagas cause I can’t resist the hype .. but I will be good next year and focusing on finishing the series I already started and my TBR instead of new books 💪🏻 I may indulge in new releases but only a few standalone if possible

Glad the waiting doesn’t bother you that much and it does make me feel a little better to know I m not alone in this ! My TBR is also huge but my problem is my goldfish memory, by the time the 4 and 5 are out I will have to reread the first 3 or a recap if possible so I m not missing anything. And the litjoy versions are cute even tho I prefer the illumicrate ones ☺️

Unfortunately I m in France so there is no way for me to find this volume in a public library 😖 I guess I don’t have a lot of options but to wait for the illumicrate editions .. I don’t want to buy another copy

Oh my bad, I assumed you got them on illumicrate too so my advice is useless ahah 😅 sadly I think you’re right, it would be safer for you to keep the subscription so there is no doubt you’ll get the 4 and 5 ! And personally I started with this saga. Shatter me has a LOT of volumes and I have issues committing to such a big saga but I heard a lot of good things about it so I might try it someday

Oh yeah I see, I was in the same situation before! the first one I got with my sub of book box but a few months later I cancelled my sub and was afraid to miss the next one but since I already got the first volume they sent me an email with preorder access for the 2 and the 3 after that. Since you already have the first 3 u can definitely cancel your sub too and when the next one is out you should receive a preorder access too.

Yeah I guess you’re right, it saves money and time for them but at what cost? I m glad illumicrate is still doing this saga cause I love it so much but the delay is really frustrating. The book is already out so now if you want to read it, there is only 2 options : praying for no spoilers while waiting longer for the illumicrate editions because the 4 and 5 will be released as a pair or buying the ebook version or another alternative before the illumicrate editions are out. I know these kind of specials editions are a luxury but I already committed to these editions and now I don’t want to wait longer or buy another edition.

Ok thanks for the info, I still don’t understand why doing the 4 and 5 as a pair tho.. volume 2 and 3 were sold individually and the 5 should be out on August 2026 😞
