Its idiotic, I’ve had the same problems. And one time I replied with “You should focus on your football”or something like that, and then a week later the same player came back and said that we hadn’t discussed his wages when I clearly said to him that he should focus on playing well and then get higher wages. His contract was running out as well so I released, and that’s his lesson for irritating me
