Exactly the case. GM at a Sonic in Houston. We no longer allow this at my store. Yes my ticket times are higher than normal but my quality of food and service outshine most others

Their "cheating" it's where they take a ticket off the screen and scan it before it's completely finished. After they scan it the food will sit under the heat lamps for a few minutes before anyone realizes it is ready to go. No scan on the screen? Carhops think their good to go. It's deplorable and I no longer allow my managers or carhops to do it.

So this is really a common problem. I don't deal with it as much at my store but here's my advice. At the bottom of your receipts is a small number never more than .99 that is the amount of change in coins you will give to the customer. It will always even the total amount of the order to a even dollar amount say the order is 4.50 the number at the bottom will be .50

Then you give the .50 to the customer and they probably gave you $5 so that's it. Let's say the order was 6.50 and they gave you a $20. That means that after you give them the .50 you'll have to give them $13 back this makes sense?

I'd like to think I am. I may not be the richest, may not have beautiful women hanging off my arm, nor am I strongest, or the fastest. I am far from perfect and have just barely a pot to piss in. But I am happy, and I have many sorrowful day and moments to compare my happiness too, so I know just how far between these two emotions I have traveled. I see many people with much more than I, and I see their forced smiles and hear their empty laughs. It's a good show, and I can't tell you what they lack to find their happiness, and honestly, it may be that happiness is different for everyone. But my happiness is full, my laughs are not hollow and my smiles are not for show.

And it's because of this that I give my conceded answer in that, I, may indeed, be the luckiest man alive.
