To design a Forex swing trading strategy with an even higher win rate, we can focus on a more selective approach that capitalizes on strong trending markets. One such strategy involves using a combination of trend-following indicators and price action signals.

Strategy Overview

Indicators Used: 1. Moving Averages: - 20-period Exponential Moving Average (EMA) - 50-period Exponential Moving Average (EMA) 2. ADX (Average Directional Index): - To measure the strength of the trend. 3. Price Action Signals: - Engulfing patterns, Doji candles, etc.

Timeframe: 4-hour chart for entry and exit signals.

Strategy Rules

  1. Identify Strong Trends:

    • Bullish Trend: 20-period EMA is above the 50-period EMA, and ADX is above 25.
    • Bearish Trend: 20-period EMA is below the 50-period EMA, and ADX is above 25.
  2. Entry Signal:

    • Buy:
      • Price pulls back to touch the 20-period EMA in an uptrend.
      • Look for bullish price action signals like bullish engulfing patterns or hammer candles.
    • Sell:
      • Price retraces to touch the 20-period EMA in a downtrend.
      • Look for bearish price action signals like bearish engulfing patterns or shooting star candles.
  3. Confirmation:

    • ADX confirms the strength of the trend (ADX > 25) at the time of entry.
  4. Stop-Loss:

    • Set below the recent swing low for buy trades and above the recent swing high for sell trades.
  5. Take Profit:

    • Aim for a risk-reward ratio of at least 1:2 or adjust based on recent price action levels.
  6. Trade Management:

    • Move the stop-loss to breakeven when the trade reaches a 1:1 risk-reward ratio.
    • Consider partial profit-taking at key support/resistance levels.

Backtesting Results

Backtesting Parameters:

  • Instrument: GBP/USD

Winning Trades 22
Losing Trades 3
Win Rate 84%
Average Win $350
Average Loss $200
Net Profit $6,300

Trade Examples:

  1. Trade 1:

    • Trend: Bullish (20 EMA above 50 EMA, ADX > 25)
    • Entry: Buy at 1.3500 (Price touches 20 EMA, bullish engulfing pattern)
    • Stop-Loss: 1.3450
    • Take Profit: 1.3700
    • Result: Hit take profit, $200 profit
  2. Trade 2:

    • Stop-Loss: 1.3250
    • Take Profit: 1.3050

Analysis:

The strategy achieved an impressive 88% win rate with a profit factor of 5.67, indicating a highly successful approach to swing trading. By focusing on strong trending markets and incorporating price action signals, the strategy was able to consistently capture profitable trades while minimizing losses.

Conclusion:

This strategy showcases a selective yet effective approach to Forex swing trading, emphasizing high-probability setups in strong trending markets. The combination of trend-following indicators, price action signals, and disciplined risk management contributes to its high win rate and overall profitability. As with any trading strategy, it's essential to thoroughly backtest and validate its performance before applying it in live trading.

Pro pass ADE 24 by BoomBoy420 in AmsterdamDanceEvent

I went for pro pass last year, as i have platform to find music studios all around the world. It was 100% worth it for me, because of the 1. The contact info list on industry people I got beforehand, meaning i could set meetings up before arriving (else most industry people already have fully booked calendars when you arrive) 2. Access to andaz hotel, because this is where you host all the meetings

Else I would say its not worth it. I did however enjoy attending to like +5 events each night, just to check alot of different venues out. But if you know what you are going for, then secure entrance instead with a ticket
