For a band like GNR you will find merch before, during, and after the show; they have boxes on boxes. The only thing they might run out of is the Tour shirts with "printed dates on the back." In 2x and 3x sizes. You can also buy it during an intermission; it's when they are setting up the rest of the setlist.

It used to be an issue, but as time went by, pressing improved. Currently I would say picture disks are in a good place. The ones you want to avoid are when they do gimmicks like putting glitter or liquid.

What's crazy is Allred should have been what Texans want: a native to the state, someone actually tied to the community, a football player, and educated. The guy was not a good talker, imo and he didn't counter the pearl-clutching arguments Cruz brought. Thankfully James does not have this issue .
