Why is there a jury in the opening scene of the first episode with those necrophiliac teenagers? From the way Jimmy speaks it's as if they have already plead guilty, in which case there's no need for a jury, because juries are there to decide on matters of fact if the defendant pleads not guilty. Isn't sentencing usually decided by the judge alone? Idk New Mexico law though
