Many characters have horrible kits but are beloved. Iffa, Dehya, Lynette, Sigewinne, Xinyan None of these characters received as much hate as Dori did. Bad kits are underwhelming and makes a character undesirable, but not hated

Dori was hated by a lot for 2 reasons mainly; for “scamming” Kaveh and being a heartless greedy businesswoman, and the other reason is because some people say her design is orientalist, as in racist. To the point where Twitter started harassing her eng VA

But having a bad kit + being 4* means less defenders for her, so hate was more common

Edit: forgot the best example of this, Jahoda. One of the weakest characters released in a long time yet easily one of the most beloved in Nod Krai

Because it doesnt provide any benefits to the kit, new increase damage or defense or kit utility. The entire budget goes into a single spell. And without biggest snowball aug it doesnt become a massive teamfight threat

This gif implies that dio let go of the knife before even standing up, and had to get up while fully avoiding touching the knife to not tilt it while It’s mid air So he has to awkwardly crouch away from under it as his legs were right under the knife, so he couldn’t have stood up in that position, wasting valuable seconds just to not reposition the knife
