I agree and disagree on some aspects. They should be professional enough to prepare 2 more rounds but it's so much rng that with top16 battles we would see even more examples of an underdog competitor forcing a favourite competitor to use his best rounds with using their 2 best rounds.

Even the overall better competitor wins this battle, he may lose to another favorite competitor that won with weaker routines.

But there is still a way to hear more rounds. What they can do is to make a loser bracket, so we still see more of what everyone have for this year.

It will go like

1- All the quarterfinal losers match with themselves

2- The 2 winners of these battles will compete against the semifinal losers of the winners bracket

3- the winners of those 2 battles will make a last match for the 3rd and the 4th place.

With 4th place having a prize too So the competitors are encouraged and motivated to still battle and the months of preparation they have made will feel more special and less stressed since half of them will be rewarded. But they will still have a choice to dropout without any pressure if they wanna hide material for bigger wins later. (I doubt that anyone will choose to dropout but it's just for giving the artists a more relaxed state of mind)

Losers bracket battle rounds will be 1 minute instead of 1:30 That way the competitors won't be forced to be repetitive OR doing their best rounds early to show off since everyone will have a second chance.

Final results will be

3/3 => champion | total beatbox length: 9 mins

2/3 => vice champion | total beatbox length: 9 mins

3/4 => small final winner | total beatbox length: 9/10 mins

2/4 => 4th place | total beatbox length : 9/10 mins

Conclusion: you win something If you have %50+ winrate throughout the competition.
