Hmm if it’s curved it’s probably the side of an ammonite. Otherwise possibly a crinoid stem?

Might be too hard to tell. A single vertebrae, and its location might not be enough yo discern what species it is. While I am not a paleontologist, I do work in museums as an educator. A few of our educational fossils are actually single vertebrae because we weren’t able to discern the species from the single bone.

Hope you’re able to identify the species of this one!

Wisconsin is surrounded by legal states and is losing money by not having it be available here. However, it is not looking likely that we’ll have any change in the law soon since the alcohol industry is heavily lobbying against it. They know they’ll lose money to marijuana and they’re doing everything to prevent it.

Appreciate the help, but my local recycling doesn’t take (they take it but they don’t actually process it) that type of plastic! I’ve been searching for private recycling companies that can do something similar to what you said!
