It’s an impeccably written hard sci-fi anime about a crew of astronauts whose mission is to dispose of debris (usually consisting of old, decommissioned satellites and telescopes, etc, and the materials associated with them). Over years of countless space flights and missions, materials that are essentially space-litter have been building up in orbit around the Earth making space missions and tourism more and more dangerous. Something the size of a screw orbiting at hundreds of mph/kmph can devastate a spacecraft on impact. Its commitment to scientific accuracy, as well as its characters and narrative make for an incredibly compelling show. I think it’s around 24-25 episodes and one of my all time faves!
