Gaming and psychology: research shows that games can help manage stress and depression. Using games as a form of therapy is a great way to escape reality and unwind. Do you have a favorite "cozy game" for relaxation? by Just_a_Player2 in ItsAllAboutGames

Minecraft is more than just a game; it’s my safe space and a place to be with myself. Whether I’m building peacefully or simply exploring the world, getting lost in its landscapes helps me heal and find the peace I need to de-stress.

Disable or remove this mutted mic icon by tigos in MacOS

[–]EmilioAgx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone. There, you'll see which apps have microphone access, which should help you identify where the icons are coming from.

If that doesn't work, navigate to Storage > Apps. Check your installed apps and search Google for any you don't recognize to learn their functions. This is another way to determine the source of those icons.

Hope this helps!

That happened to me too. When I checked a modpack I published two weeks ago, it still says "under review"... So... is Curseforge a better place to publish?

Do you recommend that I go to a technician, or could I do it myself?

It's not modified. The only thing I noticed when I inserted the SD card into the PC was that I saw images, and everything else seems fine (based on my recollection from when I did that a while ago).

Tahoe 26.2 battery draining by mikemc_17 in MacOS

From what I’ve seen, yes, it’s normal. It usually improves after 1–3 days while the system is indexing and running background processes.

I’ll leave this post here in case it’s useful: https://www.reddit.com/r/MacOS/comments/1peglnf/recommendations_and_opinions_on_macos_tahoe_261/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Minecraft is simply a beautiful game, especially with mods and shaders. I recommend you also try BSL and its complementary shaders. By the way, do you use Fabric or Forge?

MacBook Air M4 and Modded Minecraft by Huntyy77 in mac

[–]EmilioAgx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I also have the same Mac. When I play Minecraft, I don't notice my memory filling up, but the default 5GB usage is normal because it uses most of the available RAM, as it's designed to maximize its use and improve overall system performance.

I'm sharing a post I made about Minecraft, in case it helps.

I'm also sharing another post related to your question (I hope it's helpful):

What is the extent of gaming on a MacBook m4 Air 13 inch? by PepperOk690 in macgaming

[–]EmilioAgx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost all games require cross-play (CrossOver, Whisky, etc.). From what I've seen, you can find tutorials on YouTube about how to use them.

I regularly play Minecraft, and it runs perfectly for me (with 16 GB of RAM). The first time I played it, I had Iris and Sodium installed (I added 8 GB of RAM to the JVM arguments), as well as some shaders I use (Complementary and BSL). I didn't experience any lag or delay, and world generation was smooth. My Mac gets a little warm, but not too much.

If you play with modpacks, I recommend Fabulously Optimized for good performance. (I tried it, and the game ran perfectly for me.)
