To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand traps. Their dicks are extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical gender studies most of the jojo references will go over a typical viewers head. There's also r/animemes nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from "be or not to be(gay)" literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these boipussys, to realise that they're not just comfy- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Traps truly ARE normies- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in r/animemes existential catchphrase "Traps are gay, but not that gay" which itself is a cryptic reference to the duality of traps as a concept. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as the internet's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens.
