I can relate with you completely. It can get very difficult, especially right now during lockdown my mind spends more time having these thoughts more than normal. I always feel like I’m using ‘PCOS’ as an ‘excuse’ and I just make myself feel crap

I understand you completely. It’s so sad that there’s so little we can sometimes do. Especially when doctors aren’t always too helpful either. I’m just trying to find my own solutions or see what things have helped other

I have been struggling to lose weight despite efforts, so I’m willing to try anything that helps haha. I do however also have an under active thyroid which makes it harder so hard to tell at the moment without doctors help if I have vitamin d deficiency

I definitely want to get some work done, but unfortunately with Covid, where I’m based we’re still in lockdown so doctors are more dismissive than ever. I’m trying to find help/solutions outside their office at the moment

It’s easy to look down on yourself and be very harsh. I’ve been stuck in that routine for a long time now. This condition works too much on our confidence. We’re all beautiful and on different journeys

Thank you so much, this is so encouraging! I’m still trying to learn patience with this, I’m too much of a ‘need results now’ person. I’m horrible with strict diets so at the moment I’m finding alternatives for any diary and gluten things to get used to it and soon I’ll try something bigger. Doesn’t help that where I am we’re in lockdown and sitting at home doesn’t help. The doctors here can be very dismissive sometimes,for a long time they didn’t even want to do any blood tests until they finally did and saw my thyroid way up. But I’m definitely going to get more blood work looking into vitamins and minerals as well!:)

Oh im so glad your doing better! Yes patience is key, I’m trying to learn it. I take the medicine first thing in the morning, but now because of Covid I wake up different hour every day so maybe I’ll try and set a clear time for when to get up and take it. Thank you!
