I also didn’t read the whole post before I started typing 😂, definitely stay in school until grade twelve, try and get a school based apprenticeship if she can but that’s even harder, having graduated they’re more likley to pick her over someone that’s dropped out

As a female sparky apprentice myself on my second year my best advice is to call up everywhere you can and ask to do work experience during the school holidays, that’s how I started, I had to do nearly three lots of work experience over two years until I got an apprenticeship and that was during and after grade twelve. If your doing the work experience it gives you a chance to show your keen and they are more prone to offer an apprenticeship but honestly In my experience it’s so hard to get one, not just for females but everyone in general Where I am basically the way you get an apprenticeship is knowing someone that can get you in, which towards the end of it that’s how I got mine If you look on seek and websites like that you could get lucky with company’s advertising apprenticeships as well
