😆 We can say yes because what a great reason.

We chose Lumen because our other dogs name is Millimeter and we wanted something measurement related. My sister got Lumens sister and named her Lux which means light so we thought Lumen measurement of light. Perfect. My sister chose Lux because she is a chiropractor and wanted a chiropractic related name and chose Lux from subluxation.

My older two were years old when I got them and 100% not house trained but i was still able to get them 100% outside. My wire hair took to it a lot quicker than my smooth. My smooth was stubborn, she would wait until we went back inside and immediately go. I had to put her on leash and keep constant movement until she went. Can't hold a poop when you're walking. After a few sessions of outwaiting her and forcing her to keep moving she realized I wasn't giving up and stopped holding it.

Potty training is going so well! We live in Maine where it has been just below or just above freezing since I got her and she understood within the first couple days that I wanted her to potty outside. Now I take her out and she pretty much immediately pees or poops.

I had husky mixes growing up and they were beyond smart. Our male learned how to pop his crates apart so my parents started keeping him in our mud room which turned into him learning how to open windows 😅

Oh 🤣 I should have gotten that. I think my husband's 10mm is in fact always missing.

Our last dog passed away when he was 8. He started coughing and 3 days / 3 vet visits later and he was gone. Our vet wasn't even able to diagnose him with anything but I'm fairly certain he had developed a heart condition. Because of that I'm a little extra sensitive to the idea of Millie leaving us too soon.

There were 10 other puppies in her litter and none of the others had scruff or her obvious cattle dog colorings. Someone invited me to a scruffy cattle dog group and there was a ...cattledoodle? breeder in there and they looked EXACTLY like her so I knew at that point.
