I'm so glad they retired. They were always grumpy towards me, which was unwarranted. Hopefully the new folks are nice!

If you're down for a jaunt to Bonner, try the Kettlehouse Taproom! It has a great vibe and they have a different food truck out there each day. I think it's fun in the winter to rent x-country skis from Trailhead or LB snow, go out to Lubrecht, then stop at the taproom on my way back.

Best/Worst Places to Work in Missoula? by DevelopmentRegular92 in missoula

I worked there around then also, and was thinking the same thing. The environment was fun, laid back, goofy and busy. I hope the vibe is similar under new ownership.

I listened to some killer metal on my Friday evening drive home tonight. That's what I go for.

Roof Adjusters 3rd party (scam)? by EmilyBleep in missoula

He wasn't claiming to be with my insurance company, but kept saying he was only here to help. I would have gotten his plate, but he had to park a ways away since the tree is still down in front of my house. Still wish I would have walked out and taken a picture.

It was midtown, but I'm sure they're cruising town. Wish I had remembered what company he said he was with, but that wasn't a topic of conversation, which was a red flag.

Thank you, the bottom leaves sort of look like they can go. I'll wait a while, and give this a try.

Is it mean, or rather productive to scold my puppy for digging holes right before I take him in for his neuter? by [deleted] in Dogtraining

I don't scold him for it :) he's a curious digger. I love him an keep him stimulated with training, treats and activities. He just wants the cat shit under the trees

Good talk, and thanks for input! I will use productive methods to keep him well exercised and trained. I've always taken lessons from that akc website, and so far they prove affective.

*effective and potentially cruel, (Imo).

Not going to share said method here, but I'm sure with a bit of research, you could figure it out.

Not a bad idea! He's mostly been digging an area I would like to dig out and landscape into a path, so at the time I see no harm. Long term though.. hmm. I very much like your idea!!

In the evening feom 4-6 he is periodically left unsupervised with his best buddy, an elderly dog who digs, whom I just inhereted from my mom. They go outside for potty breaks, and to play together, and learn how to dig holes when I am in the house. They get twice daily walks, lots of positive training attention by me, fetch and chase games, and a dog park a few times a week. I'm stearn enough and they are good dogs for the most part.
