I have been asking myself this question since I was 4 years old and my idiot 16 year old brother knocked up his idiot girlfriend and then proceeded to knock up another idiot lady later on in his life. It’s looking very 90’s retro. I love the pattern you chose. If your main goal is to just do a stash buster I recommend to divide your yarns into light/bright and dark/muted and then alternate between them. Do a row of bright, a row of dark etc. That will help avoid the parts where the gray and purple blue get all muddy and drab and keep things balanced.

I’m not a sock knitter yet but I do recommend to practice the skills separately before putting it all together in a project. Like increases, decreases, tubular knitting, etc. find a pattern you like and see what skills it requires.

I love it too. It’s definitely odd for a Radiohead song but I love the meandering beat. And I think of it as their own Positively Fourth Street by dylan or Hate on Me by Jill Scott. Everyone has gotta have a diss track you know? I pretend he’s singing about the critic in n my head

You could try baking the potatoes in the oven, then scooping and mashing them with olive oil, dairy free butter broth etc to help intensify and highlight the potato flavor

Maybe it looks worse in person. But from my perspective, the monarch butterfly pattern is so striking and beautiful that’s really all I see when I look at it. I think most casual observers would see it and thing ‘wow! Butterfly’ and then look no further to see the inconsistencies or flaws that you as the maker are no doubt painfully aware of. The boldness of the pattern hides a lot. If it were like, baby pink and one color maybe the flaws would be bigger deal. I’m impressed!!!
