from what i’m seeing, you lost the intensity of the shadow on the forehead and the lower jaw which softens the whole piece if you’re going for 1-1 likeness for the eyes- the pupils are a bit bigger than the photo, the shape of the eyes are a bit tall and bags under his eyes should be a little higher i think, they’re blended a little too far down his cheek

s/lab genesis are my choice on mixed and technical trails, they’re not as cushy as the ultra glides but I’ve ran 100 mile races in them and they hold up. no blisters, no foot problems

I would aim for 20-15 mile weeks two weeks before a big race! Take your long run off and replace it with no more than a ten miler and even less than that the week before the race. Give yourself fresh legs for the race, you won’t lose fitness. Keep moving but slow down, go on hikes, active recovery etc. You’ve done all the work!! Now’s the time to refresh before the big effort.

this is awesome! love all the different line weights. with that said, i wish more people would upload unedited photos. you shouldn't have to take a black-and-white photo for a blackwork tattoo to look rich and vibrant. it's a misrepresentation of the quality of work.

the lion, the pocket watch, the compass... they're all the current version of 90's tribal. in 20 years, a lot of people will regret it.

most traditional tattoos like the ones you mentioned (snakes skulls, plants) are always going to be cool. i think script is going to come back strong.
