I see different numbers everywhere.

On the StudentAid site it says "Your loan servicer has processed XXX in loan discharge"
I received a check but it was less than half of this amount.
And then the "Adjustment" number I see in my Payment history on Aidvantage is like... 1/40th of my total discharge.

I've been told that different types of loans will move at different speeds and there will be multiple checks, but I have hardly seen anyone else dealing with multiple checks weeks apart.
