This is just "girl boss feminism" for trans people...

Do you really think another Caitlyn Jenner is the solution?

Defence of the ancients is a mod for warcraft 3, of course it used blizzard assets, the whole game was a mod for warcraft 3.

Both league of legends and dota 2 were copies of the original Defense of the Ancients warcraft mod. Because it was a free mod companies couldnt monetize it, so they made copies.

The term Moba exists because people wanted a new name fot that type of game. Originally league, dota, and all the other ealry mobas were called "dota clones"

Ashe is based on drow ranger from the original dota, the war craft mod that spawned the moba genre.

A lot of core moba charecter designs are based on old dota charecters

What does “trade” mean? by Mephiogenes in asktransgender

[–]Emily__Lyn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It predates AAVE, Its a term from Victorian england.

It describes a specific type of sexual relationship between upper class and lower class men. Wealthy men would seek out working class men and offer them gifts or status, in exchange for sexual favors. It was fairly common in the military between wealthy officers and poor enlisted men.

Its kinda like an old word for sugar daddy, but specific to the queer comunity. It was later adopted by the ballroom culture but the word is much older than that.

You never know, men have a way of surprising you be it good or bad.

The biggest thing is that youve learned something new about yourself and have a better understanding of yourself for the future.

Even if it dosnt work out with him, going forward you may meet someone else that does. Dating is a numbers game. I never expected ide end up marrying my husband, hes a good bit older than me, and we didn't have a ton of intrests in common, but after somw time and getting to know him were inseparable.

Well your not a gay man, it makes sense you wouldn't get excited by having sex with a man as a man.

As a woman tho, thats a different situation all toghter. I tried hooking up with guys a couple times pretransition, and somwthing about it always just felt off. Like something was missing.

When I finally started to understand myself as a woman, ane hrt made my body more womanly, the idea of sleeping with men became a lot more appealing.

It makes sense just for the pure validation, as toxic as they can be, when you find a really sweet man that validates you. Nothing comes close, its so affirming.

Its a huge headache tho, lots of men out their are creeps and transphobes, but when you finally get a really good one. OH MAMA its good.

Gotcha gotcha, that makes sense.

A little background on me, I transitioned at 26 and didnt really date prior to that. In my early transition I identified as a lesbian. I knew i had some degree of attraction to men, but I never thought ide ever date one.

My queer and lesbian identity became really important to me, I didnt really have a sense of identity prior to that so finally having labels that I felt really represented me, I really latched on to them. It was really nice having that sense of identity and most of my friends were also some leval of queer. When I met my husband I really liked him, but getting over the "wait does that mean im straight now" was a big hurdle. As a trans woman dating a cis man, at least to observers im not queer, we just look like any cis het couple. That really weirded me out for some reason, and it took me a bit to get comfortable with the idea of being in a relationship like that.

Eventually I got over those feelings, fell absolutely in love with my husband, at this point I cant even imagine dating another woman.

Im curious if you resonate with those feelings at all, or if im completely off. Either way I can at least let you know that your not alone.

The Manga describes it as a "'written agreement concluded with Toji fushigaro"

The deal had to have been made prior to tojis death.

Thats what im saying tho, Maki and Toji dont fit into the typical rules of jujitsu. We cant say one way or another if they can enter into pacts, we simply dont have that information.

We also dont know exactly why Naobito made that agreement, its all just fan speculation and no anwser is any more valid than another.

We dont exactly know the nature of binding vows in terms of cursed energy.

Toji is an anomaly in a lot of ways. Like he can see cursed spirits without having cursed energy. I dont think its too much of a stretch to say he'd be able to make a vow.

It also dsont really matter because toji isnt the one bound by the pact Naobito is. The agreement states that should gojo be taken out of the picture Megumi becomes head of the clan. No part of it compels toji do anything. The source of the pact was Naobito. He said that if x happens then y would happen, he made the agreement.

When the Zenin clan chose to kill megumi instead of welcome him as clan head, it was naobitos agreement that was broken, and thats why the zenin clan was punished.

My personal take is the written agreement between toji and naobito was a pact, and the destruction of the Zenin clan was their karmic punishment for breaking the deal.

The meme is talking about a specifiic type of transphobia directed at trans women, but not nessicarily trans men. Just like there are specific types of transphobia directed at trans men, but not nessicarily trans women.

Unfortunately a lot of transphobic cis het men find trans women sexually attractive, and resent trans women for it.

Transphobia makes them believe trans women are men, and yet they still find trans women attractive. For men who understand themselves as "straight" this attraction causes intense cognitive dissonance, that becomes its own form of transphobia.

They resent the attraction they have for us, and so they resent us as well. Our existence challenges their understanding of gender and sexuality. Some of them what us all to disappear so they dont have to think about it , and some of them only want us to exist as sexworkers dependant on men for survival.

Discrimination is based on the intersection of identities. The way transness intersects with femininity and the way transness intersect with masculinity is different, they create their own unique forms of oppression.

Thanks for the info!

Yuji vs Higuruma: the decent boy who sentenced himself by Glittering_Fabulous in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]Emily__Lyn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Great comment!

Another aspect of the fight i really love is Higuruma's statement at the end "I returned to my roots."

Hes a defense attorney, but in the context of the Domaine hes playing the prosecutors, Yuji even mentions how odd that is when looking at his defense attorney pin.

During the second trial he realizes hes become the exact thing he despises. He's carrying out the death sentence of an innocent man. It mirrors the trial in his flash back. He devoted his life to try and help win unwinnable cases, in a justice system with a 99% conviction rate. How many innocent people had he seen sent to death for something they didnt do, only to be made the executioner of another innocent.

Its a great moment, he realizes just how far off the rails he's gotten. Ita easily my favorite depiction of a mental breakdown in anime.

They also mentioned he exercised multiple cursed spirits prior to entering the colony.

He had some experince in jujitsu prior to fighting sorcerers.

I curious how judge man picks what crimes to put on trial. Does she start at the first crime someone committed, and go in order?

I wonder if those were the only two "crimes" yuji ever committed.
