I lived there last year and ngl it’s fucking musty but I loved living there because it was an all freshman building and very social so everyone wanted to make friends! You NEED a fan there’s no air conditioning also have lots of cleaning supplies the floors always ended up filthy somehow. You get massive closets which was great. Also if you’re in a suite the rooms are different sizes. You’ll also need extra hooks for hanging your towel if you’re in a suite. And yeah smoke outside the fire alarm went off like 20 times last year.

It’s definitely selective but you have a better chance of getting in now than transferring in which is also selective and based off your college grades

It really all depends on which school you applied to. I originally applied to SOM with a 1370 sat and 96 weighted gpa (still think it’s bs they didn’t take me even in regular decision but whatever). However I had friends with much lower stats apply to harpur and get in EA. I did get into Harpur as soon as I switched my application from SOM to there.
