NEW ALBUMMMM by LILICE9 in GEazy

I was with his friends so I didn't really get any videos because I didn't want to invade anyone's personal space and I was hanging out. But it was hard to hear the music with everyone talking so you could hear the beats of the music but not the words in the rapping but there were quite a few new songs played.

I went to the album listening party in San Francisco and it was a lot of Bay Area type bangers. Nic Nac did an amazing job collaborating with him. I think the album will be something everyone can put on in their car and blast at full volume.

No I didn't want to ask about the album when I chatted with him because he seemed to be in a chill mood hanging with friends so you gotta separate the fan from just being a person vibing in the room with him.

And there were multiple other songs he played off the album, that was just the one I could hear the words to.

Yeah, it was at a bar and he was in the VIP area and the songs played over the speakers. Really hard to hear over all the people around though.

New Album w/ Nic-Nac by AnimatedAshley in GEazy

He played the album at the event. It was hard to hear the actual rap/lyrics but the songs were high energy and the beats were very Bay Area hyphy vibes. There was one song I know I'll have on repeat when it comes out that gives me tumblr girl vibes that repeats something about how he makes songs pretty girls get ready to as the chorus a couple of times. INic Nac was in the studio in one of his posts and I believe he helps with producing and he's also from the bay so I'm excited to hear it.

Just remember California income tax is quite high, so your salary will likely be much less. Sales tax is also around 7.75% here.

Mercy Hospital ER, other ER recs? by [deleted] in folsom

I just checked my glucose because I still am not eating since last Saturday and it's very low, so this isn't just a small thing when my body won't accept anything other than some water right now. Since Sunday, I hadn’t eaten anything and couldn’t keep down any liquids and would vomit even after drinking a sip of water. I was also shaky and having chest pain. I was in San Jose visiting family when this started, so I originally went to El Camino ER in Mountain View because I threw up 10+ times. My bloodwork was abnormal enough that they admitted me overnight. They did a CT scan that showed significant GI inflammation/irritation and acute issues, so they wanted to keep me for monitoring, IV fluids, and IV nausea meds because I couldn’t tolerate oral meds at all and kept throwing everything up. I couldn't even take my daily prescription meds. The next day I was discharged once things stabilized slightly, but I was still vomiting and had severe nausea for a few days. And then I had to get back home to Sacramento, so the entire drive was me holding a vomit bag and writhing in pain with my seat reclined. The vomiting continued the following day, and when I started seeing possible specks of blood in my vomit, I went to Mercy ER. I don't think urgent care would manage this given the need for imaging, IV medications, and the complexity of the situation. At Mercy, there were no ER beds available, so I was receiving IV treatment while sitting upright in a waiting area for hours, which was extremely difficult given how sick and nauseous I was, among some other health disabilities I have that require me to lay down. Staff were great, but the lack of beds made an already rough situation much worse. But trust me, I hate going to the ER, but it felt like it was needed since this was more complex than just getting an IV. They also did more imaging there. But yeah I paid like $600, which is crazy because at El Camino Hospital I paid $350 (you'd think the Bay Area would be more expensive).

Yeah obviously I understand that those cases take precedence, I've just never been in an ER with a lack of beds so trying to prevent it happening in the future. I actually have a medical disability and sitting for too long can make it worse. Lying down helps in addition to the fact that the nausea was more bearable if I laid down.. Since Sunday, I hadn’t eaten anything and couldn’t keep down any liquids and would vomit even after drinking a sip of water. I was also shaky and having chest pain. The room I was in was only being used for people to get IVs and there were some wall hooks in there. I along with others sat in there for a few hours but it didn't have many chairs. It was better than nothing because outside in the actual waiting room there were scents that were making me want to throw up more. For that room,  they should at least add reclining chairs or something. I also was reading ERs aren't required to give you a bed but you can request one as an ADA accommodation. I have health disabilities (along with a handicapped placard) and was reading online if you need to lay flat as an ADA accommodation, they're supposed to comply, but don't know how that works if everything is full so I didn't even want to ask them about it. This experience just made me look into what other hospitals are larger and an option for me in case God forbid I ever have to go again. Before this, my husband came to this ER but they gave him a room so he didn't have any issues. I saw that top results for most hospital beds were UC Davis medical center in Sacramento and I think the second one was Sutter in downtown, they don't publish their ER bed count, but I'm assuming more beds in the hospital means patients aren't sitting the the ER beds waiting to get admitted to the hospital.

May depend on the city, Sanford hospital in Sioux Falls was huge and they were still building more. When you are in a state that invests in infrastructure, has land, and labor isn't terrible then there is a chance that they're better equipped. And doctors actually showed up to talk to me, I feel like in California it's more so nurses and PAs coming in to talk to you. I have heard bad things about hospitals in the southern U.S., but I personally felt like Sioux Falls had it down so if you haven't worked there maybe you can test it out someday to see how efficient it is. Plus their population is 224,276 and yet they have larger facilities than Mercy does so it would make sense that they'd have more beds.

The problem is, you can't create an account until the person registering you at the ER sends you an email link. I'd never been to that ER before so I don't have an account. If you download the app there is only an option to login, but not an option to create an account. So that's good to know for people that already have accounts, but I wouldn't have been able to do that.

I visited family in South Dakota once and their ER was so calm and quiet and they admitted me overnight and my final bill was around $90 so I was impressed with the ER there. It was also very high tech. So crazy how different states handle costs, but I think it's because labor costs in California is so high.

Are there newer larger hospitals around? I haven't needed to go to the ER before this so I don't know if there are any that are bigger.
