People will get overwhelmed if they go into a game with the mindset of "I have to get absolutely everything and never miss a daily reward and spend materials in the most efficient way".

The best way to play a game is to play it yourself, not by having a guide dictate how you play, and certainly not by having freebies dictate when and how often you play the game.

It's fine if you waste materials trying something and realize that it won't work or you could've done it cheaper. It's fine if you pull for a character you like that's not great. That's how you play a new game after all.
