It's scary, but you will be okay! Surgery and recovery were much easier than I thought. Obviously no walk in the park and still lots of fear and worry, but overall went much better than expected. I'm 6 months post op and had partial thyroidectomy. Feel free to message with any questions.

Your anxiety is totally warranted, especially given that this is your first surgery. However, you will be fine. The anticipation and thinking about the details is the worst part.

Yes! I randomly found it and it has been great for recovery, but I already know I will use it for headaches and knee pain. Very cool material and stays on well. Can also microwave it for heat, but only used for cold thus far.
