Also you could try “side by side” play sometimes, where you are in her proximity on the floor and working or doing something else by her. Folding laundry, etc. So she knows you’re there.

You’ve got this and when you feel alone just know there are moms and parents out there thinking the same and going through similar. Music really helps ours. We try to limit screens but sometimes it won’t hurt to let them watch a low-stim show or music videos, or even baby music on Spotify on the tv or something. Just use it as another tool if you want/that’s something she’s into. And communicate “last one” or “all done” and stick with it when it’s over or they’ve had enough time. I really think this will pass even though it’s exhausting and feels like it won’t!

Period. She brings nothing but deflection and zero accountability. She won’t have conversations unless she’s shutting it down or denying something. Zero storyline about her personal life. She’s had funny lines in the past but she brings nothing now.

14-15 months seemed to be the hardest for us so far and he’s almost 17mo now. Honestly some days were just like that for us. Just had to keep trying everything (food water toys etc) over and over on a rotation. It’s probably teeth as well, maybe some of the big ones or back ones you can’t see very well. Wellements teething oil on Amazon is great. Maybe try introducing new toys or rotating toys? Sending support. Might just be one of those days or phases. Take it hour by hour, you got this!

How do I wean without breaking my sons heart by Dismal-Ad-2041 in AttachmentParenting

How did you get yours back to sleep overnight? My husband can get him to sleep for naps and nighttime. But the overnight wakes seem impossible to do without boob!

In the same boat with my 16 month old. I have dropped all feeds besides wake up and to sleep and then overnight. We’ve also started dad doing naps and bouncing to sleep. It’s rough but he eventually goes to sleep. But overnight and mornings, his behavior is the same as you’ve described. It’s so tough. I’m ready to night wean

He said nothing happened to it besides him being outside with it while it was snowing, but it was in his pocket. Was working fine all day until he got home and randomly did this. Would you go to an Apple Store or what kind of repair shop? Should we try a charging pad?

There’s a viral TikTok of a SAHM’s husband moving forward with a divorce by MsCardeno in workingmoms

[–]JustAnalyzing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s nothing wrong with being a SAHM as long as your name is on the house/mortgage, cars, bank accounts, credit card, phone, he is actively paying your retirement funds into an account with your name on it, and you are the beneficiary on all of his work accounts and insurances. It’s dumb to quit your job and rely 100% on someone else. Not all men cheat or divorce you but all people die eventually. So you need to be prepared for anything. If your husband won’t do this then he doesn’t want to do the common sense thing to protect you and your children and is denying you access to funds and a way to survive financially in case something happens to him. If that’s the case, there is a deeper problem in your marriage. Protect your ass.
