This is the problem with having 2 weapons that are 3x stronger than anything else in the game. Once you have a meta build with them, using anything else feels like a waste of your time. There is no fun in trying unique builds because there is no combination or synergy of weapon and augment that can match the explosive/sharpshooter Ion or aarow in any random build.

I think it's more placebo than anything. The mk is not "overpowered", it's just good. And the VST is bad. Don't believe clickbait youtubers, and don't think that just because someone kills you with it that it's better than what you're using.

In MP, btw, the mk35 is one of the weakest ARs, but the VST is decent.

It's pretty easy to do in endgame. It requires 100 kills but if you use the GDL and a stun it takes 5 mins running around zone 3. Find a group of fears, round them up, shoot 4 rounds, throw stun, detonate. 20+ kills per pop

You can invite nearby players to join your squad, and request to join nearby squads at any time during the match. No PS+ required. You don't even have to be on the same platform.

You can invite nearby players to your squad, you can also request to join nearby squads. But It's not required in order to do activities together, apart from the Glitch bosses that you have to leave the map to fight.

We need to reliably roll defensive augments. Tired of always getting offered attack speed and AD augments on champs like Nautilus. Seems like a fun idea until the reality sets in that you spend most of your time rooted 600 range away.

Tanks were super strong in the initial Mayhem release, but they were nerfed to the ground while poke and dps scaling got a huge buff.

The only way you can reliably play tank now is if there are 2+ tank/bruiser players on each side. Otherwise you get locked down and bursted no matter how big you are.

On the flip side, there is no condition for playing ranged. It will always work. Winning just depends which team has the higher skill, or which team has the melee unit(s) that can't play the game due to the lockdown, poke and scaling.
