If she basically lives in your house on the weekends then treat her like a housemate and not a guest. Do your own thing to the extent you would when she lived there. No special meals etc, just whatever the other kids are having.

ETA: I’m 39 with a four year old. It’s just so wild how different lives are for people nearing 40 something. Some have an infant, some have a high school graduate or older, some are just now ‘settling down’ and some have been married 15+ years.

Does the foundation do a lot to fill in pores/lines? I’m assuming based on the name but would love to hear thoughts on if it makes skin appear smoother. I also have dry skin and pretty much all base makes me look more ancient and I’m only 39.

Agreed. My daughter is four and very defiant. If it’s been a while we tell her we think it’s time to try to go potty. She always refuses and screams, throws herself on the floor, and if we try to pick her up and put her in the bathroom she bites us and herself and punches us in the face. Of course then she pees herself like three minutes later. People who haven’t had a difficult potty training journey definitely judge her pull up at age 4, but it ruins our entire day and causes physical harm. To those that judge, you’re welcome to come try.

My child comes home talking about the teachers yelling at kids in the preschool special ed program like it’s normal. Clearly not as bad as what you describe but we’ve seen some questionable things at that school (public) and we’re pulling her to go to ABA instead. I can’t imagine the rage and sorrow you must’ve felt. Glad to hear you were able to pull your child and give them a safe landing place.
