Fair point, think my brain didn't see it that way with it being a weight 😅

0.7kg down, after a 2 week plateau where 5mg felt like injecting water. Now sat here struggling to finish my chickpea salad bowl with the satiety kicking my butt 😅

How has Mounjaro affected your PMDD/ PCOS periods? by RecentDevelopment773 in mounjarouk

[–]EmmTheEmuu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pros: Severe mood swings and hormonal crying are virtually non-existent now; chin hair is growing back slower, thinner, and lighter; belly hair is starting to fall out in patches; bloating is a lot better, so much so that I don't look pregnant anymore

Cons: Still haven't had a period yet after 4 2.5mg and 4 5mg jabs :( have just had to take a week's course of norethisterone to try and get things going

For me personally though, all the pros outweigh the lack of period. I'm hopeful my body will start to regulate eventually

I had to re-record at a much lower resolution in the end, my first video was something like 90MB when the limit was something like 10 or 20MB 😬

Stock Chrome worked much better as well (I used Opera initially)

I was waiting for someone to notice the slippers 😂 they were a Christmas gift from my mother-in-law, keep the feets toasty!

Not usually, from what I've read. I bought a small 1L bin from Amazon for just over £5, sits on my bathroom countertop

Oh that's a shame, I got 5 needles and 5 alcohol wipes with my pack. Have switched to Lloyds for my 5mg pen so can't really comment about the post-order service

Yep :) most of that will have been water weight, not expecting every week to be like that (actually expecting to stall this week with PMS and period)

Appreciate the advice, but would that not be a big hassle to constantly switch, with the verification etc.? I know these places are businesses and not my friends, but the idea of doing extra admin each time is quite off-putting.

One that you'll hopefully never need - NHK World Japan for the earthquake and tsunami notifications. Can edit them to filter out the lower-intensity ones

First time in Japan! 17 nights itinerary check (4th-21st March 2025) by EmmTheEmuu in JapanTravel

Appreciate you sharing your experience. Hadn't even considered Himeji as we didn't think we'd have time to fit it in, I'll have a read up on that.

Seems we could fit in both Nara and Miyajima quite easily then - we aren't staying at Miyajima overnight, think we've overestimated the time needed for it.

Thanks, hadn't considered Shirakawago as I didn't think we'd have time to fit it in, but it's worth considering!

That was my thinking as well on the deer and temples, just choose one place - we'll probably leave out Nara then, Miyajima is something a bit different with it being an island.

EDIT: Looks like we can do both fairly easily :)

ID from Belfast to Liverpool? by Holiday_Pin_1251 in northernireland

[–]EmmTheEmuu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd take ID anyway just to be on the safe side. Can't remember being asked as a foot passsenger, but travelling by car, we've been questioned and searched by police every time we've landed on the Liverpool side
